🌱 Unrooted Dragon Fruit Cuttings

Freshly cut and ready for you to root at home.

Want the most economical way to start your dragon fruit collection? Our unrooted cuttings are taken fresh from healthy, mature mother plants at Oceanside Dragon Fruit. You can propagate them yourself and watch them grow roots right in your own setup.

Each cutting is labeled by variety, perfect for experienced growers or DIYers who like to start plants from scratch.

How to root your cutting:

  1. Place your cutting upright in a shaded, dry area for 3–5 days so the cut end can dry and seal.
  2. Prepare the soil – Use a well draining mix/cactus mix.
  3. Plant shallowly – Bury about 0.5-1 inch of the base end and keep cutting supported/upright.
  4. Water sparingly – Lightly water. Avoid soaking until new roots form.
  5. Provide bright, indirect light/partial shade. After new growth appears, slowly acclimate to full sun.
